Design and evaluation of algorithms for control of high frequency power electronics. KU Leuven
With the introduction of wide-bandgap semiconductors, significantly higher switching frequencies are feasible for power electronic applications; computa- tional power to process the control algorithms is however not increasing with the same pace.
Sliding mode controllers are known to have low computational demands and high robustness. Unlike continuous control methods, a sliding mode controller produces discrete control outputs, similar ...
OptiMMA: Optimization of MP-SoC Middleware for Event - driven Applications Ghent University
The OptiMMA project will enable the mapping of emerging, dynamic software applications on complex Multi-Processor Systems-on-Chip (MP-SoC). This will be achieved though the use of Middleware components, which will be able to mediate between embedded software and the hardware platforms. Thus, they manage at run-time the memory storage, energy consumption, bandwidth and computation resources of the embedded system.
