Cerebral hemodynamics regulation (CHR) consists of a set of mechanisms that try to preserve cerebral homeostasis. This is achieved by providing an adequate delivery of oxygen/substrates to sustain the cerebral metabolic demand. Disrupted CHR might lead to hemorrhage or ischemia causing brain damage.
