Cosmopolis is a research centre within the Department of Geography of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and is dedicated to research and teaching in geography, spatial planning and urban design. Established in 1976, KADOC wants to promote interdisciplinary research in the field of religious, ideological, political, social and cultural history of the catholic segment of the Flemish/Belgian population and society. The Sagalassos Archaeological Research Project has interdisciplinary ambitions to study the far and less far past, and the near future of the region in which the ancient town of Sagalassos originated, flourished and came to its end.
