A reference database of the Flemish Subsoil - V2023

Research and reporting conducted by the Flemish Environmental Planning Office (VPO), in the framework of building a reference database of the Flemish subsurface. The data was collected by analyzing soil samples stored in the Geotheque of the Department of the Environment. As many qualitative samples as possible were taken from as many different geological units as possible. The collected data contain information on grain size, glauconite content and (an)organic carbon content. This report is renewed periodically.
