Quell’ambivalenza delle Relazioni Industriali
Journal Contribution - Journal Article
Industrial relations in today's Italy
they are characterized by ambivalent aspects.
On the one hand, in some ways, at fifty years
from the «warm autumn», Italy preserves
the proximity to a «pluralistic-competitive model
», Characterized by bargaining systems
collective and with a tendentially «conflictual background
»Of labor relations (1). On the other side,
however, we are seeing, especially in recent years,
to a weakening of bargaining autonomy
collective, traditional source of strength for
trade unions and employers' organizations.
Understand the deep, long-term reasons
of this weakening is important to trace
the evolution of industrial relations in Italy in the
past decades and to identify challenges and assess
the opportunities that could - if caught in time
- helping to manage change wisely.
To understand all this we start from an analysis
of the factors and processes of this transformation.
