Learning object metadata: opportunities and challenges for the middle east and north africa

This paper briefly analyses the requirements for “share and reuse” of learning objects in Middle East and North Africa. We propose a framework that can be used to connect Learning Object Repositories of the Middle East and North Africa with networks of repositories worldwide; through the services of the ARIADNE Foundation (http://www.ariadne-eu.org/) and the GLOBE consortium (http://globe-info.org).
