How to map the Flemish environmental sector

Book - Report

Subtitle:An exploratory analysis
The environment and renewable energy are important drivers of new economic development. Flanders therefore wants to achieve a greener economy. A consequence of the transition to a green economy is that investments in environmentally friendly production methods become more attractive and therefore new employment opportunities arise. With this study, the Department of Environment wants to make a socio-economic analysis of the environmental sector in Flanders. Not only from the government, but also from the sector itself, the question arose to map out the environmental sector. This study was therefore carried out jointly with the Association of Flemish Environmental Coordinators (VMC) and the Federation of Enterprises for Environmental Management (FEBEM).
