The business model of an airport
Book Contribution - Book Abstract Conference Contribution
In literature, little has been written about the business model of airports. This paper looks at the theory behind a conceptual approach to business models and whether it is applicable on airports. Furthermore, the close relation of all elements of a business model is depicted. Two case studies illustrate the theory and the effect of changing one element of the business model. This leads to a general conclusion about the consequences of the interrelations between the elements of the business model.
