Agricultural economics in Belgium. Diversity and dynamics

Book - Book

The Belgian Association of Agricultural Economists has now been in existence for 30 years, and has made a tradition of publishing a commemorative book for each 10-year milestone. With the current 30th anniversary book, the association wants to illustrate the broad range of activties nowadays performed by agricultural economists: (1) farm development issues, (2) policy questions and recommendations, (3) development and transition issues, (4) resources and environment concerns, (5) agro-food markets analysis. The selected works have been contributed by researchers belonging to several Belgian universities and scientific institutions. The topics surveyed not only give a picture of pioneering research work, but also an impression of what is at stake in the agricultural sector, and in the markets and environments associated with agriculture.
