Project

Virtuality in Reality (R-4626)

The programme focuses on multi-disciplinarity in an atmosphere of mutual cross-cultural understanding. It is an integrated concept mainly organized around entrepreneurship, (English) communication skills and team work. Students work in small cross-culturally and multi-disciplinary composed groups, and write a business plan for an imaginary but realistic enterprise centred around a product or service in their domain of competence. During this 4-week project taking place at the University of Manchester in summer, the students get the necessary input and feedback to complete their project successfully. The end product, the business plan, including a presentation thereof, are evaluated both from the standpoint of entrepeneurship and the standpoint of communication skills. The programme is coordinated by Hasselt University.
