Toolkit broad assessment of Dutch language competencies for primary education.

A Toolkit Broad Assessment (TBA) will be developed that enables teachers to assess the school language competencies of students in primary education in a broad and functional way. The TBA, which is accessible online, is not a new test or just another 'new' evaluation tool. The TBA encompasses all existing language tests and assessment tools for Dutch in primary education (including the tests and tools situated at the transition of nursery to primary education and of primary to secondary education) and places them in a clear assessment framework. The TBA will also provide schools with implementation scenarios to integrate language tests and assessment tools in the school language policy.
