Project

Targeted brain quenching in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

In this project, we aim at elucidating the cellular consequences of acquisition of the RPL10 R98S mutation, which should help in understanding how this mutation promotes leukemia. We will use a mass spectrometry based approach and test if the RPL10 R98S mutation specifically alters translation of oncogenic or tumor suppressor proteins in the cell, whether the mutation affects translation independent roles of RPL10, and whether the mutation may alter RPL10 function by changing its posttranslational modification.
