Surprise, surprise! Dealing with unexpected information in autism spectrum disorder.

Recently, exciting new theories have been proposed that use the predictive coding framework to account for the wide heterogeneity of symptoms in autism spectrum disorder. In this project, we aim to test the main hypotheses of these theories on three different levels: the sensory level, the learning level and the social level.
