Super-resolution optical microscopy by combining Raman spectroscopy and plasmon waveguiding.

In this project, we propose use fo an optically active plasmonic nanowire for single cell endoscopy. Unlike dielectric nanowires, plasmonic nanowires offfer two main advantages: non diffraction limited waveguiding and (2) high-throughput optical communication across the membrane. In this project, the applicants will establish plasmonic waveguide based  endoscopy using plasmonic supet resolution remote Raman sensing. The latter has been demostrated  recently by the applicant.
