Project

Study of determinants in the immune escape of melanoma and identification of possible strategies to reverse this escape.

Melanoma is a very immunogenic tumor. Clinical responses are despite immunotherapeutic interventions limited and currently responders can't be identified in advance.

This project will focus on the detection of myeloid suppressor cells (MSC) and regulatory T-cells (Tregs) in melanoma patients. Likewise the tumoral expression of immunomodulating proteins will be determined.
