Statistical relational Artificial Intelligence and Automated Data Science

The PhD research will focus on automating data science, i.e., the endeavour to develop/provide tools and techniques that partially automate the application of data science to applications and, in this way, democratise data science. Special emphasis will be devoted to the role of statistical relational AI representations for automated data science. The representations tightly integrate logic and probability, and it will be investigated how to automatically preprocess data and background knowledge for such statistical relational AI systems.
