Project

The role of the RANKL/RANK/OPG pathway in the cross talk between synovial fibroblasts and synovial myeloid cells in erosive hand osteoarthritis.

Erosive hand osteoarthritis is a unique subset of osteoarthritis. Current knowledge on its pathogenesis is limited. Our clinic has mastered a new technique, making it possible to retrieve synovial tissue from finger joints for molecular analysis. This project aims to unravel the
role of RANKL and the crosstalk between synovial fibroblasts and myeloid cells in erosive hand osteoarthritis.
