A RESEARCH MAP ON NOBLEMEN’S MOBILITY IN THE AUSTRIAN NETHERLANDS.

The all-in-one research map examines both knowledge on the historical landscape based upon a retrogressive map analysis and 18th century geographical data on transport and mobility in maps and letters from the cartographer Joseph de Ferraris. It opens new research questions on transport and mobility of noblemen in the Austrian Netherlands and on distance and proximity in their social networks.
