Qualitative longitudinal follow-up in Belgium in 2009, resettled refugees from Iraq

A qualitative longitudinal follow-up of resettled refugees, this research suggests two aspects of the resettlement analyze: 1) The resettlement policy of both the coordinating authorities fedasil and CGVS as the private partners receiving this Belgian pilot program; 2) The way the concerned refugees themselves have experienced guidance for inclusion as their inclusion in the host society. The longitudinal evaluation provides the opportunity for a long time to evaluate the well-being of refugees, also in light of the expectations upon arrival and how these expectations over time change. Integration Expectations of reception and support partners will be assessed against the expectations and perceptions of the reception and opvangrealiteiten of resettled refugees.
