Prison culture, drug use and drug traffic within 3 Flemish prisons

This qualitative research wants to examine the role and meaning of (both legal and illegal) drug use and drug trafficking in the prison as an adaptation style or coping strategies of prisoners. We also examine the individual characteristics of detainees, the influence of contextual factors and the presence of a 'prisoner culture'.
