Project

Primary Care in a Compassionate Community (PRICCO). Towards a Paradigm Shift in Interdisciplinary and Multi-Sectional Primary Care to Improve the Quality of Life of Seriously ill and Frail Older People and their Families.

The King Baudouin Foundation supports projects and citizens whose objective is a better society. We want to contribute in a sustainable manner to enhanced justice, democracy and respect for diversity. The Foundation is independent and pluralist. We operate from Brussels on a Belgian, European and international level. In Belgium, the Foundation conducts projects which are local, regional as well as federal. It was founded in 1976, on the occasion of King Baudouin's twenty-five years on the throne. To attain our objectives, we combine several working methods. We support third-party projects, we develop our own projects, we organize workshops and round tables involving experts and citizens, we set up groups which reflect on major current and future issues, we bring around the same table people with very different visions, we diffuse our results, by means of publications (free of charge) etc. The King Baudouin Foundation collaborates with the government, associations, NGOs, research centers, companies and other foundations. We have concluded a strategic partnership agreement with the European Policy Center, a think tank based in Brussels.
