Poultry and Pig Low Input and Organic Production Systems’ Welfare

The goal is to test ways of improving the welfare of free-range pigs and poultry. For this purpose, apps were developed that farmers can use to conduct welfare assessments of their animals. The effect of using these apps is tested on commercial farms. In addition, the effect of a varying incubation temperature on resilience of slow-growing broiler chickens is tested.
