Pilot-wave interpretation of quantum fields and quantum gravity.

Bohmian mechanics provides a consistent deterministic and time-reversible quantum theory. It is one important solver of the measurement problem. Its sharpness of presentation allows a clear representation of the issue of nonlocality in quantum mechanics (or, for that matter, in nature). However, its clash with Lorentz covariance makes a Bohmian field theory difficult. The project will contribute fundamental research on the quantum foundations.
