Organisation of a workshop about top-class sport in cooperation with Catalonia.

Flanders renewed her collaboration agreement with the government of Catalonia, in which sports was assigned with more interest. In the agreement for 2008-2010, a collaboration in elite sports will be persued and next to an exchange in expertise and best practices, seminars will be organised. In Spring 2009, the Catalan government showed interest in organising a seminar in sport accompaniment in cycling and athletics (sprint/hurdles) in which the Flemish expertise was placed next to the Catalan. 5 Flemish experts were widrawn (Diels, Hespel, Debaere, Koninckx and Delecluse). Additionally Hespel was asked to give extra information concerning "recuperation in cyclists" and Delecluse to give a reading concerning "Whole Body vibration training in sport and health". Eventually, Koninckx wasn't aivalable but Hespel agreed to replace him for the reading. In the beginning of septembre, an additional program was set-up for the particpants to be able to make contacts with the local experts.
