Objective video quality metrics for estimating perceived video quality through network monitoring
Network impairments (packet loss) influence perceived visual quality of the received digital signal in the case of digital tv. During this research, the relationship between these impairments and the perceived visuale quality will be investigated. The goal is to construct a quality metric that predicts visual quality based on network monitoring.
