Object Detection from 3D Point Clouds

Point cloud sensors are now available from many suppliers. In this project, we will study the use of 3D point clouds for object detection in industrial applications. Using deep learning algorithms, we aim to improve both detection performance and robustness, while also keeping efficient implementation on embedded platforms in mind.
