The neural basis of value-based intentions: understanding the interaction of intentional and motivational control (3PL004916)
Acting according to one’s intentions is a key aspect of human behavior. Often, we have a goal we want to reach, and we can name reasons for wanting to reach that goal. Here we will investigate the interaction of intentional (What do I want?) and motivational (Why do I want it?) control processes in the brain, using fMRI and TMS.
