MODU-MOF: Modulated Metal-Organic Frameworks as multifunctional heterogeneous catalysts (MODU-MOF)

This proposal aims to develop Modulated Metal-Organic Frameworks as multifunctional heterogeneous catalysts. By using functional modulators, one can control the pore size and additional active sites can be designed within the framework. In a second part of this research proposal palladium nanoparticles will be synthesized in situ in the modulated MOFs. The resulting materials will be examined on their catalytic performance.
