Modeling of the electrical conductivity of thin film solid oxides (FWOTM673)

Acceptor doped zirconia and ceria are ceramic materials which are electrically conductive through the presence of oxygen vacancies in their microstructure. They are mainly used in oxygen sensors, as catalysts and as electrolyte in solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs).
