Model-based experimental-virtual testing
This project intends to develop a methodology for generating virtual and experimental test scenarios for mechatronic controllers that will maximize the chances that the controller will meet its performance requirements in all working situations. this project will take the controller performance into account in the evaluation of test scenarios, in order to generate tests that maximally uncover unsatisfying behaviour. The project will explicitly deal with model uncertainty when selecting appropriate test scenarios and also use uncertainty techniques to achieve an optimal interaction between virtual and experimental tests, using the latter to maximally reduce the model uncertainty.
