In the framework of the "Entente Québec-Flanders", the Centre of Applied Linguistics will do an exploratory and preparatory investigation with a view to a later fundamental research with the following partners in the following domains: - With the CCDMD-Montréal (Centre collégial de développement de matériel didactique) and its university partners : - Which intercultural differences exist in the business negotiation between Flemish and Québec business partners, and in a broader sense between Western-European and Nord-American business people. For Québec, the linguistic differences between the Québec variant and the standard French will also be investigated. - With the CCDMD and Druide Informatique (Montréal): - The possibilities of the integration of the sophisticated text corrector Antidote into a new multimedia e-learning authoring platform allowing the most recent technologies such as text-to-speech and intelligent voice recognition
