Made in Flanders? A research project on contemporary film policy and national identity in Flanders (1999-2015)

The aim of the project is to investigate the contemporary government film policy framework in Flanders and to analyse the role of film policy in the production, promotion, distribution and exhibition of films, as well as in the sort of films and the representations that are produced. Throughout, the relationship with the issue of national identity takes a central place.
