Project

Longitudinal changes in amyloid, polygenic risk, and gene expression to profile asymptomatic Alzheimer’s disease

The primary aim of this project is to determine longitudinal changes in amyloid beta load in preclinical Alzheimer's Disease, in vivo, and relate it to changes in inflammatory gene expression profiles in blood. The secondary aim is to determine how ApoE e4 and BDNF status affects these and the associated inflammation-related biomarkers in peripheral blood.
