Project

LIVE-FOR: Technical software for SME networks (EU520)

This multiplier project will consolidate and take further the results of an ADAPT project called 'Started'. The objective of this project is to develop a distance learning methodology for employees in SMEs using multimedia technology.

The partners will undertake detailed research of existing distance training methods at local, national and international level, and will investigate potential technical support options. A new distance package training will then be designed and piloted with workers, trainers and training material producers. It will then be evaluated and the feedback will be used to adapt the final products accordingly. Dissemination and distribution of the material will be organised at local, national and international level. The ultimate beneficiaries will be all levels of workers in SMEs who need to be up-dated in the use of new technologies, as well as trainers.

Impact
The project will provide workers, trainers and training material producers with new supports for distance learning.
