Life at the bottom. Living standardr and heights in Flanders, 1780 - 1900

Average height is one of the best measures to study the social and economic conditions of a society and can be used to assess historical (in) equalities. We will examine the heights of prisoners during he last quarter of the 18th and the 19th century in Flanders.
