The relationship between human rights and development has been the focus of debate for over two decades. A number of recent developments have put renewed emphasis on this interface, with academics, NGOs, governmental and multilateral actors increasingly addressing the human rights aspects of international cooperation, trade, and investment. The aim of the Community of Practice is to foster dialogue and innovative thinking among development and human rights professionals by creating a knowledge-network and platform for the exchange of new initiatives, publications, events, or other relevant developments.
