ICT in Teacher Education: Affordance versus Actual Use in Selected Teacher Education Programs in Ethiopia
The PhD research project aims to investigate ICT affordances and its actual use in pre service teacher education programs across the globe. To this effect, comprehensive available scientific evidence will be reviewed systematically which will be followed by study that analyzes the state-of-the-art in Ethiopian higher teacher education. Moreover, based on the study results, a model will be developed to enhance actual use of ICT in the study context. That model may serve as the basis for elaborating and testing intervention strategies.
