Hyperspectral imaging for online anomaly detection.

During this doctoral program, the possibilities of using hyperspectral imaging for online anomaly detection will be explored. The goal will be to develop applications for industrial quality control on a conveyor belt. Beside developing such a specific application together with an industrial partner, also more general techniques and insights will be studied to allow knowledge transfer to other applications. For solving this problem of online anomaly detection, computer vision techniques will be combined with spectral analysis.
