Hybrid Fibre-Reinforced Thermoplastic Composites with a unique combination of stiffness and toughness

This project introduces innovations in fiber hybridization to develop thermoplastic composites with a unique combination of low density, stiffness and toughness (ductility, impact resistance, etc.). The project addresses the challenges in design and production technology of this new material class, followed by the development of applications.
