Project

Glocal prisons in transitional countries. The objectives of imprisonment in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo.

This criminological research project examines the objectives of imprisonment in Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and the extent to which international actors have affected these objectives through international interventions. It studies the encounter between old (local) penal traditions and new (international) policies and the dialectics between global convergence and local divergence.
