A global approach for evaluating and improving driving skills using a driving simulator (R-4875)

The IOF (stands for 'Industrial Research Fund' of the AUHL - Association University and Colleges in Limburg) project aims at preparing a spinoff on the development of an online training tool and mobile driving simulator for the assessment and training of driving skills. Our current driving simulator will be converted into a mobile system and the existing assessment will be automated and validated. An online training tool will also be developed in such a way that participants after an assessment can work on improving those aspects of driving that emerged as insufficient from the assessment. In other words, the spinoff wants to offer a complete driving skills approach, starting from a good assessment to an online platform with applications where the user can work on his/her driving skills.
