Federgom Leerstoel. DynaM-Belgium/ Statistics on the Dynamics of the Belgian labour market.

DynaM-Belgium / Statistics on the Dynamics of the Belgian Labour Market tracks changes in employment at the firm level, revealing the dynamics underlying net statistics. The project covers three themes: births and deaths of firms, creation and destruction of jobs, and hires and separations of workers. DynaM statistics are compiled from data that are collected by the National Social Security office (NSSO). HIVA-K.U.Leuven and NSSO have developed a validated methodology in order to translate the administrative data into data that are suitable for research purposes. Data and indicators are made available online at dynam-belgium.org. They are compiled following recommendations by international statistical instutes, such as Eurostat and OECD. DynaM provides information on the data, methods and recent developments. HIVA-K.U.leuven publishes working papers based on an analysis of the data in view of policy oriented questions. Federgon, the Belgian federation of partners for work, supports the research activities of HIVA-K.U.Leuven with the Federgon Chair 'Dynamics of the Labour Market'.
