Fatty acid metabolism as central mediator and exploitable target in therapy-resistant malignant melanoma

In this project we aim to explore the concept of modulating the cancer cell’s lipid composition as an approach to sensitize advanced and therapy-resistant cancer to lipid-based cell death therapies and to overcome therapy resistance.
