Fatigue-induced biomechanical risk factors for overuse injuries in jumping athletes

Lower extremity overuse injuries are common in athletes participating in sports with repetitive jump-landings. Physical fatigue is known to modulate injury risk, possibly through altered landing kinematics and kinetics. The purpose of this PhD is to increase our understanding on the impact of fatigue on biomechanical risk factors in the development of lower extremity overuse injuries.
