Evolution of plant-parasitism in nematodes: from early-branching patterns to speciation

This project outlines a more complete and efficient characaterisation of plant-parasitic nematodes. A phylogenetic framework can reveal morphological, genetic, biogeographic and ecological patterns associated with plant-parasites. Furthermore, our integrated dataset will allow a theoretically sound and practically feasible delimitation of plant-parasitic nematode species.
