The effectiveness of a modern educational intervention for pain and pain-related disability (BREASTCANCER)

If a modern education intervention, additionally to a standard physiotherapeutic program, is more effective for the treatment and prevention of pain and pain-related dysfunction in post-operative stage of breast cancer treatment than traditional biomedical education-intervention, then this modern education must be implemented. The scientific objective of the project is to investigate the effectiveness of modern education intervention in post-operative breast cancer, in addition to a standard physiotherapy program, in comparison with the traditional biomedical educationform. The primary outcomes are pain intensity (Visual Analogue Scale) and pain-related function (Pa in Disability lndiex) up to 1.5 years after surgery.
