Direct design methods for free-form optics including motion and gradient-index materials (FWOTM702)
In this project I will develop direct design methods for free-form optical surfaces with movement. Such dynamical systems can prove beneficial for many applications: steerable skylights for active daylight, flexible LED lighting and dynamic laser beam shapers.
