Digital-only analog integrated circuits
Electronic circuits that implement essential analog functions must be integrated in nanometer CMOS technology. This causes two important problems. First, the raw "analog" transistor performance is poor. Second, the supply voltage is only 1 volt. This makes the design of analog circuits increasingly challenging.
Therefore, analog circuits need to be rethought and migrated toward a more digital approach. In this project we will investigate techniques for this. The core idea is to use signal representations that can be represented by 2-level waveforms.
