Development of new methodes for the slective immobilisation of redox enzymes at electrodes (01J09307)

The immobilisation of proteins at electrodes is one of the most recent developments in bio-electrochemistry. The electric contact between biomolecule and electrode is of fundamental interest in the study of redoxenzymes and the development of biosensors. The aim of the project ist he development of place specific coupling techniques for the immobilisation of Rhodobacter caspulatus cytochroom c peroxidase at electrodes.
