The contribution of small forest remnants in agricultural landscapes to pollination services

Western European forest landscapes are highly fragmented. These fragments can, however, deliver important ecosystem services. Pollination is among the most important, as 35% of the global crop production depends on it. Wild pollinators, however, have declined the past years because of the disappearance of semi-natural habitat. This research attempts to assess the immportance of these forest fragments for wild pollinators.
